My internal screaming is echoing. The rage I feel is incompatible with my daily Buddhism mindfulness practice, but also being an engaged Buddhist means activism and protest is a moral duty. I stand with Rep. Al Green. To H*LL with ALL of the democrats who voted with republicans to have him unjustly censured.
"I may be nonpartisan in my critiques of political parties, but Democrats are the only people we have with any kind of power to fight back. We must keep pushing them to do so." Amen Arturo.
I've contacted my representatives by phone and got through to only one. He had a town hall and those of us that went gave him an ear full. I'm still going to try getting their to our senators.
I've said often that I don't vote for Democrats because they're perfect. I vote for them because they push more policies I agree with than Republicans. Most of their positions help the working class and vulnerable to try making up ground. Rich people may eat well during Democratic reigns, but unlike Republican control, at least me and mine eat too when they do.
Thank you for the recordings of the Dems who are speaking out inside the people’s house. It’s not just Rep Green. Sure would like to see more. Happy Friday!
Symptomatic of their party, from the blue dogs, to the Manchin Sinema filibuster protectors, to now these 10 kissing Trump’s feet, who should never be able to raise a dollar from donors ever again: Ami Bera (D-CA), Ed Case (D-HI), Jim Costa (D-CA), Laura Gillen (D-NY), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA), Jim Himes (D-CT), Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA), Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), Jared Moskowitz (D-FL), and Tom Suozzi (D-NY). With these small margins they should be peeling off Trump’s votes, instead of being the small margin. Thanks for naming the rot.

As a Buddhist myself, I feel where you're coming from. We must protest.

Happy Friday! I'll try to get some more videos of Dems speaking up.

I had to list them. I knew everyone would want to know who they were. I sure as hell did.
