Blatant double standard for refugees. This administration rolled out the red carpet for White South Africans, a minority population that owns the vast majority of wealth and land, while Black and Brown refugees are left in the lurch.

Does she even understand what life will be like for any girls or women sent back to Afghanistan? We're sending people who helped us back to their deaths and their families to lives I personally would probably choose death over.

It's so shameful. We've done a huge disservice to Afghans in general. This adds to it.

I would have to think very hard if I were placed in such a terrible position with my teenage daughter. It's obscene.

I keep wondering how this regime avoids cognitive dissonance. I wonder how often you have to lie to yourself before the lies start feeling true. This is not a matter of opinion. This is our and out racism that anyone with a human heart should recognize and reject. Afghans sent back will not be safe. Afrikaans are not oppressed or in danger in any way. How can the American people not see this?

Willful ignorance. Although, that they're so quiet about it tells me that they may understand their loss of plausible deniability. There's no "out" for them after this.
