Arturo, you make a great point on the challenge to today’s journalists to resist the temptation to be the first to break a story. Reliance on pundits, supposed experts, to speculate on issues and the sparse presentation of actual facts is just churning rage. Rage at best only leads to apathy. At worst it can lead to anarchy. Neither are where we should want to go.

You make so many valid points. The speculation certainly feeds rage and fear more than anything else. Both of those typically lead to bad things.
