If you really pay attention to the history, most of the Cubans who fled Cuba in the early days were white Cubans upset about (and afraid of) Castro desegregating the island.

I have often sparred with Cubans who were bitter at Castro but also bitter the US for treating their wealthy family like immigrants when they came to US.
I love this country, Condor shenanigans notwithstanding. It is my home.
I feel there needs to be another term along with white Nationalists. They are disruptors of culture. Vultures, because it is all about the $$, which is how somebody like Clarence Thomas winds up being part if this bunch. My grandfather fought in Mousilini's army. He was a peasant from the South. Had no idea what he was fighting for, but that he had to go. He fought on the Russian front. Was allowed to visit my Mom when she was born in 1942, then returned to find the Russians has killed everyone in his battalion. What is happening now feels so personal. I thought we were done with all this.

They say everything but that. I don't get how people don't see it.
I think people see it but don't comprehend the way it can all fall apart, for everyone... even the white people.
