It's No Secret Why Latino, Indigenous, and Black People Support Palestine
And no, it's not antisemitism. You can take that nonsense somewhere else.
If you’ve ever wondered what the genocide of Indigenous people was like in the Americas hundreds of years ago, I have news for you. You're witnessing it right now in Palestine as we empower the same tactics and behavior.
At the end of the day, the mental gymnastics it takes to try and convince people that those being colonized (exterminated) are the bad guys is the same garbage that was used against Indigenous tribes across North America and Latin American and African nations until today.
Yes, it’s still happening.
The U.S. went all out in brutalizing every tribe on the continent and when those being slaughtered tried to defend themselves, they were called "savages" and “terrorists'“ as if the savages weren't the people doing the betraying and killing to steal land and resources.
If you haven't made that obvious connection yet, I can only assume it's because you don't want to. The sad part is that nothing has changed since the earliest days of colonization. The U.S. has maintained that war path for centuries. You don't hear about it because legacy news media doesn't tell you about it. That’s intentional too.
What Israel is doing, including claiming to be the "chosen" people, is the same as using "manifest destiny" to justify slaughtering millions all over the West.
