I think that the whole concept of the 1st Amendment was that if everyone had the freedom of speech, the wealthy and powerful couldn’t get away with the kind of monopolization of media and message which our level of propaganda is now capable of relying on, without much actual competition.

I appreciate it. I scrutinize everything government officials say regardless of political affiliation. They all lie constantly.
