Human Skin Tag Steve Bannon Released From Prison
Steve Bannon wasted no time invoking far-right stupidity in trying to incite conservatives
Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon was released from prison on Tuesday and immediately began invoking similar rhetoric to that which incited the attempted coup of the U.S. government on January 6, 2020. His press briefing upon being released attempted to draw support for himself by claiming to be a victim of a Democrat-run deep state.
From pushing the “Kamala Harris the border czar” nonsense to invoking the “illegal alien criminals” propaganda, he wasted no time employing hyperbolic rhetoric. While he claims to speak up for Black people and Latinos, he employed the standard racist dog whistles as he tried to draw attention from what many are calling Trump’s Nazi rally in New York City just days earlier.
Not surprisingly, he tried to use the widely debunked argument that immigrants are creating higher housing prices and driving down wages. Meanwhile, he spent more time arguing that his podcast, “The War Room” isn’t a podcast but a TV show while bouncing back and forth complaining about California Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Attorney General Merrick Garland.
He argued that “we’re going to move past the politics of race” while maintaining the same stance of thinking racism will go away if we stop talking about it. This is from a guy who as editor of Breitbart had a category that focused solely on Black crime. He has been a key contributor to the explosion of hate groups and the normalization of racist language both on social media and in the real world.
Despite his seeming willingness to welcome people of all races to support Donald Trump, we all know how much he contributed to the demonization of nonwhite people everywhere. We also all saw what the hate rally at Madison Square Garden brought to the public. Unfortunately for the human skin tag, speaker after speaker said all the quiet parts out loud.
From anti-Black racism and Latinophobia to antisemitism and calls for civil war, no matter what he says, nothing can convince voters that what they saw didn’t happen. Even the most ardent Trump supporters aren’t denying it. Instead, they're making excuses for the behavior like any Klansman, neo-Nazi, or racist would.
Despite only about a week until election day, I’m not sure Steve “Liver Spots” Bannon will make much of a difference. Instead, he and his racism along with his tone-deafness about the racism we’re seeing at all levels of society – from our neighbors, our employers, and even strangers on the street – will likely make matters worse for Trump with his hyperbolic white nationalist bullshit.

"Human skin tag" is not fair to kind, humane skin tags like Grammy might have. It is the best description of Bannon I've seen 🤍
Yes! Let’s throw old man Steve Bannon into the “Weird” category, and for the rest of the week ignore him until he crawls back under his rock.
