Yes, the buy me a coffee button works well. After I wrote my comment I saw that you had mentioned the other options, but they blended into the rest of the text and I missed them. So I think a button would help.
“My family has struggled since losing everything, including our house and cars, and we have yet to recover since it happened in 2014.”
The injustice you and your family have faced Mr. Dominguez over a stroke, the fragmented healthcare industry, medical debt and a lack of income due to said disability is horrifying and a shameful indictment of our priorities as a society. Thank you for sharing your story. I was not aware. I have made it my number one purpose to support you here financially next time I get paid.
We need a Medicare For All third party. Abdul El Sayed in the Democratic Party has already retuned his 2020 proposal from cradle to grave barred private coverage and single payer monopsony to a broader tent universal automatic enrollment while allowing for supplemental private insurance.
Every time I read something like this that makes me think more deeply about our system of government and how it works, I wonder if we will have the fortitude to change it. It feels like almost an insurmountable hurdle given where we are at. But I guess we just keep trying — by incremental change may no longer work — maybe it never did.
Arturo, please set up a tip jar so we can help further. Gracias por tu excelente trabajo!
A tip jar, as in something other than PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App? Like a "Buy Me a Coffee" thing? Any ideas? There are so many.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to make them more prominent.
I have a buy me a coffee option on my blog posts and no was has ever donated. Maybe it will work better for Arturo?
Do you draw people's attention to it? Market it?
Apparently not enough.
I echo this request.
Arturo, 2014 was quite a year for me also. That’s when I begin the disability trail…
Thank you for your writing and insights. I always find them valuable.
I appreciate this. Thank you. I hope you had better luck with disability than I did.
Yeah, it came down to accepting an offer. I couldn’t refuse a week before my final administrative hearing… been quite the journey from 53-66…
The ghost of Meyer Lansky haunts Cuban American relationships to this day…

I have a friend who was disabled. He was about 10 years getting disability from Social Security. Nice Back Pay Check.
Good Essay, Arturo. Your work improves when your temperature rises...)
I appreciate this. Thank you.
